developed, planned, and managed advertising, creative
services, and marketing communications for
over two decades for WEGMANS FOOD MARKETS, INC.
an innovative, world-renowned retail leader headquartered in Rochester, NY.
I was active in
top-level corporate strategic planning activities and developed a wide
variety of "go-to-market" branding and image-building advertising
and promotional communications.
I
created innovative advertising initiatives to help
drive unprecedented category
and market dominance...
I
directed innumerable advertising campaigns incorporating a synergistic use of
print, broadcast, direct mail, catalog, in-store,
package design, events, Internet and other media. Many of these were award-winning
campaigns. I
planned and managed a large multi-million dollar media and operations budget
and developed vendor-funding programs that offset expenses by millions of
dollars.
Operationally,
I developed and directed in-house advertising, creative services, and
print/sign shops. I effectively integrated
and oversaw the work of ad agencies and other third-party vendors.
